Cruisin the Streets Featured Car Banner

Year:  1967
Make:  Chevy Nova

Reason for building: Cruising the streets with my son, Tucker.

How long have you been in the hobby? All my life
Prevoius rides: 65 Chevy II twin turbo
Club affiliation: AMCC
Name of your ride: Slo-Pok Just to be funny!

Engine:  A huge Chevy 505 engine is shoe horned into the engine bay. Sitting on top of the engine is a 671 blower with a pair of Holley carbs. Behind the engine is a Chevy Turbo 400 sending the horsepower to the rear.

Suspension:  The body sits on a complete tube chassis.

Paint:  is metallic red
Body Mods: A fiberglass hood replaces the heavier steel version. But it doesn’t cover the engine very often.

Interior: The interior is all about racing. It was gutted of all the stock parts and they were replaced with aluminum and a set of racing bucket seats under a complete roll cage. The metal dash is filled with racing Autometer gauges and the Fairbanks racing shifter keeps you in the right gear.

Trunk: is home for the Optima battery and the Harwood fuel cell.

Tires/wheels:  Centerline wheels are used 15X4 in the front and 15X15 in the rear are home to a pair of Mickey Thompson 33X195.15 tires.
