Build Reason: Get back into mini trucks and spend time with my sons.
Who Helped: Kelly Metzmaker was huge in driving the completion of the truck. My son Payton, wife Cathy, and friends Izzy and Hazelwood spent a ton of time on the vehicle as well.
Previous Rides: Early ‘90’s - 1st static dropped Mazda B2000, 2nd static dropped Sentra, 3rd static dropped S10 Blazer (I wish I still had), 4th first static dropped S10 stepside in Dallas area. Currently - Lifted Cherokee, building an ‘01 bagged and bodied Suburban and an ’85 C10 Suburban with my son Payton.

Name of Vehicle: “Grand Canyon”
Why: I used to call it the Canyonerro from the Simpsons, but after getting painted, Kelly threw out the name “Grand Canyon” one late night and it stuck.

Modifications: Limited to cone air filter for now.
Mods: C-Notch, lower profile cross members, front cradle sectioned for additional drop. DJM lower control arms modified to fit Slam Specialties airbags and Monroe shocks, raised upper control arm mounts with custom control arms. Rear cantilevered two link with Firestone bags and Monroe shocks.
AIR Management: Dual 444C compressors, 10 gallon tank, simple 4 valve setup with 2 switches in center console and remote control through alarm.
Wheels: Panther Vertex painted black w/gold pearl to match vehicle. 20x8.5 255/35R-20 22x9.5 255/30R-22
