Why? It’s a mess of parts.

Detroit 318 Transmission is a 13 speed.

Suspension:  The frame was home built out of tubing by David himself.  Front axle is out of a Chevy C70 , airbags control ride height, and the shocks are Munro. There is a four link setup in the rear using air bags off a 2007 Freightliner.

Paint:  is flat black out of a rattle can.

Body mods: The body was chopped and channeled 3” by the owner.
Interior: A custom dash was fa
bricated out of 1/8” steel plate cut and placed in pieces. Gauge are from a 1970 GMC General sitting behind a home built roller chain steering wheel.

Tires/wheels: The front wheels are 22.5” Alcoa and rear are Super singles.  Front tires are Dunlop SP160 225/235/22.5 on the rear there are monster Bridgestone Greatec  445/22.5

I have had many people ask me what was the toughest part of the build, I would have to say Plumbing the brake system was the toughest thing I've been a big truck mechanic most my life but I have never built a air system from scratch...
This is been a wonderful project between me and my son I would encourage any dad to take time and make wonderful memories...
